New Hampshire will face a workforce gap of nearly 200,000 jobs over the next decade.
That’s according to a new report from the state Department of Business and Economic Affairs, which projects nearly 197,000 job openings between now and 2032.
The same report projects that only about 6,100 of those jobs will be filled by in-state labor force growth.
Officials identified 34 job categories facing significant shortage over the next decade, including general and operations managers, software developers and testers, truck drivers, sales representatives, and registered nurses.
