NH Unemployment Rate Remains Low

New Hampshire’s unemployment rate remained low last month.

It was 2.6% in April, unchanged from the March number.

The state Department of Employment Security reported over 747,000 Granite Staters were working in April.

Last month’s national jobless rate was 3.9%, up a tenth of a percent from March.
