Officials to Start Moving Nashua’s Homeless Community to City-Owned Lot
Nashua authorities are moving ahead with plans to relocate members of the homeless community to a city-owned, vacant lot and field off Crown Street.
According to municipal sources, officials want to move people who are living in small encampments along the railroad running through the city because the owner of the railroad is making repairs that will render the area unsafe.
City officials say they hope people will start relocating to the new site next week.
