One Dead, One Hospitalized Following Thursday-Night Vehicle Collision in Hampton
A Portsmouth man is dead and a Hampton man is hospitalized following Thursday night’s vehicle collision in North Hampton.
Police say it happened shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Route 1 near Granite Road when a southbound Honda Civic veered over the center line and collided with a northbound Hyundai SUV.
The Hyundai’s driver, ID’d as 25-year-old Alexander Price, was rushed to Portsmouth Regional Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Thirty-seven-year-old Matthew Meisner, who had been driving the Honda, suffered serious injuries.
No one else was hurt.
Police are investigating.
