Opioid Deaths In Nashua and Manchester Up 20% For The First Half Of 2022
Some areas of New Hampshire are seeing a spike in opioid overdoses.
“The snapshot is not good”, Chris Stawasz said on Good Morning New Hampshire.
New data from American Medical Response shows in the first half of 2022 Nashua and Manchester saw a 20% increase over the same period last year.
In June alone, there were 75 suspected opioid overdoses in both cities combined.
“We are projecting there will be more than 100 overdose deaths in just those two cities, the highest numbers in years”, Stawasz told Jack Heath.
