Pedestrian Killed in Concord

A person died earlier today after being struck by a vehicle in Concord.

Concord police said the pedestrian was hit around 11:30 this morning on Loudon Road and suffered serious injuries.

That person was taken to Concord Hospital, where they later died.

The identity of the person has not been released.

The road was closed for a few hours today but has since reopened.

The fatal accident remains under investigation.
