Penacook Resident Competed for a Spot at Olympics

In Monday night’s 800-meter race, competing against former national champions, world champions and Olympic medalists, Penacook’s Kristie Schoffield charged to the front of the pack.

Schoffield finished the race in sixth, just 2.59 seconds and three spots shy of qualifying for the Paris Games at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials at Eugene, Oregon’s, Hayward Field on Monday night.
