Person Found Dead at Hampton Inn in Portsmouth

City police are investigating an unattended death at a Hampton Inn after a person was found deceased last week following a wellness check.

Authorities say there is no danger to the public.

Police were called to the 99 Durgin Lane hotel the morning of Friday, March 22nd to check on a person at the Hampton Inn.

Police are not releasing the identity of the deceased nor the manner of death.
