Person Struck On I-93 In Salem

The southbound lanes of I-93 in Salem were closed for a few hours lasts night and state police now say a person was fatally struck by a vehicle on Interstate 93 late last night.

New Hampshire State Police and Salem fire crews responded to the scene on I-93 South in Salem, near Exit 2, around 11:30 p.m.

The southbound lanes of the highway were closed while state police conducted their investigation.

The highway reopened just before 3 this morning.
