Pickup Truck Burned on a Beach

Crews were called to Wallis Sands State Park Sunday morning where a pickup truck was engulfed in flames on the beach.

It’s believed the vehicle was headed south on Ocean Boulevard around 5:30 a.m. when it veered off the road.

Police said that according to a witness it appeared speed was a factor.

One person was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
