Plan To Build New Casino In Salem Moves Forward

Construction of a brand-new casino in Salem is one step closer to becoming reality.
The planning board there approved the proposal to set up the casino at the former Lord and Taylor store in the Mall at Rockingham Park.
The casino will feature table games, restaurants, a sports lounge, golf simulators and even horse racing machines.
The hope is for the casino to start welcoming visitors next year.
