Plans to Open New Casino in Salem Moving Forward

Plans to build a brand-new casino at the Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem are moving forward.
Monday the town’s planning board looked at the proposal which calls for the multistory casino to have things such as games, bars, restaurants and also live entertainment.
The price tag for the casino would be roughly $160 million dollars and it’d be set up in the former Lord and Taylor store at the mall.
There’s no word yet when a vote could take place.
