Platner Facing Pressure To End His Bid

Graham Platner is facing more pressure to end his bid to become Maine’s newest United States Senator.

Several of his high-profile supporters, including Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, have withdrawn their endorsement.

Platner is accused of sexually assaulting an ex-girlfriend while he was under the influence of alcohol five years ago.

Platner is denying that claim and as of now is still set to take on Republican Senator Susan Collins in November.
