Police Release More Info About Crash in Salem
New Hampshire State Police are releasing more information about Thursday’s late-afternoon vehicle crash in Salem that left one motorist dead.
Troopers say it happened just before 4:30 p.m. when a motorist driving a Hyundai sedan at a high rate of speed crashed into a compact Chevy SUV.
The Chevy’s driver reportedly was declared dead at the scene.
It was not immediately clear whether the suspect was hurt and, as of Friday, no charges had been announced.
Neither motorist was identified.
The crash reportedly prompted a slowdown of local traffic for more than four hours.
