Portland Sea Dogs are Guinness Book World Record Holders

The Portland Sea Dogs, Wicked Whoopie Pies and the Maine Whoopie Pie Festival are Guinness Book of World Record record holders!

Wicked Whoopies provided 2,121 of Maine’s official state treats stacked in a line in the design of a giant Whoopie pie.

This is the first record of its kind to be acknowledged by Guinness.

The Maine Whoopie Pie Festival will be held on June 22^nd in Dover-Foxcroft. The festival benefits the Center Theatre for the Performing Arts in the town.

The Sea Dogs will play their home opener on Friday, April 5, at 6 p.m. against the Hartford Yard Goats.
