Portsmouth High-Hanover Garage Work in Most Disruptive Phase

Work on the city’s High-Hanover parking garage is expected to continue until April 19th, according to an update on the project from city officials.

The work being done to the garage’s main entrance/exit on Hanover Street is part of the three-year project to renovate and upgrade the city’s biggest parking garage.

The goals of the project include making the municipal parking garage safer and extending its useful life.

The garage is located in the heart of downtown Portsmouth.

The facility is reduced to two vehicular entrance points and one exit at this point.
