Portsmouth High School Coach Indicted For Alleged Sexual Assault Involving A Minor
(Portsmouth, NH) — A longtime Portsmouth High School assistant baseball coach is facing charges after he allegedly sexually assaulted a minor last weekend at a Lafayette Road restaurant.
Police say 55-year-old James McKenzie turned himself in Wednesday night.
He was charged with sexual assault and simple assault of a minor linked to last Saturday’s alleged incident at Gibb’s Garage Bar & Grille.
McKenzie reportedly could face up to one year behind bars and a two-thousand-dollar fine for each of the two charges.
