Retired Concord Monitor Editor has Died
A retired editor at the Concord Monitor has died at the age of 76.
The newspaper reported that Mike Pride died yesterday in Florida.
He was named managing editor in 1978, became the editor in 1983, and retired in 2008.
During his 25 years as editor, the Monitor won several regional and national awards.
Pride is survived by his wife, three sons and several grandchildren.
