Rochester Man Sentenced in Maine

A 33-year-old New Hampshire man is sentenced to 16 years in a Maine prison after pleading guilty in June to a deadly shooting.

Daniel Lafrenier of Rochester shot 37-year-old Mark Forest of Biddeford in January 2023 in South Berwick, Maine.

Lafrenier was initially charged with murder but pleaded to a reduced charge of manslaughter.
