Scam Alert

Granite State residents are warned about an ongoing scam.

Callers claiming to be from the New Hampshire U.S. Attorney’s Office are trying to obtain personal information and demand payments.

The office said it never seeks money or sensitive information over the phone.

Anyone receiving such a call should hang up and notify the FBI at tips.fbi.gov.

Anyone who disclosed sensitive personal information should contact their financial institutions immediately.
