Hampton Police Make Nearly 40 Arrests Over Last Two Weekend

(Hampton, NH) Hampton Police made 10 arrests trying to disperse a large crowd on Ocean Boulevard on Saturday night.

Police responded to a report of a large group forming on the beach area.

It was reported that fights started breaking out within the crowd.

Police say they made the decision to break up the group, they left the beach and formed in the middle of Ocean Boulevard.

Traffic was stopped for nearly an hour as police tried to move the group.

Ten people are facing charges including disorderly conduct and resisiting arrest.

No injuries or propery damage was reported.
