Secretary of State Says He’ll Follow Law When Scheduling Primary
Secretary of State David Scanlan says he is going to follow the law when it comes time to schedule New Hampshire’s next presidential primary.
Scanlan is accused by Iowa Republican Chairman Jeff Kaufmann of working too hard to defend the Granite State’s role of having the first-in-the-nation primary.
Kaufmann reportedly claimed Scanlan has been over-rambunctious about this issue. Scanlan responded to that remark by saying he’ll do the right thing.
