Sen. Jeanne Shaheen on Completion of Mission in Afghanistan

U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen on ‘Good Morning NH’ saluting all those who helped in Afghanistan over the past 20 years.

The Senator saying their valor and courage cannot be overstated, and that is particularly true for the 13 service members who died as they worked to evacuate innocent Afghan civilians, scores of whom also perished at the hands of barbaric terrorists.

Shaheen expressing concerns about the women and children in Afghanistan.

“We have to do everything possible to raise international concerns about what is happening in the country”, Shaheen said.

Shaheen, a senior member of the Senate Armed Services and Foreign Relations Committees, saying she has been raising these concerns for years, and it should be part of conflict resolutions.
