Senator Maggie Hassan Reviewing Impact of Health Funds

Granite State Senator Maggie Hassan is reviewing the impact mental health funds have on New Hampshire schools.

Hassan visited Manchester on Tuesday to speak with educators about the effect of grants on student mental health programs.

Hassan says the goal of these programs is to make sure kids can get the help they need in times of crisis.

Money is being used for things like improving staff training as well as hiring conflict resolution experts and drug and alcohol counselors.
