Shaheen Briefed On Northern Border Security
Senator Jeanne Shaheen says she’ll continue working to make sure northern border law enforcement personnel have the equipment and resources needed to keep New Hampshire residents safe and secure.
She was briefed last week and says border security presents unique challenges.
In addition to staffing shortages, Shaheen says there are communications challenges due to the remoteness of the area and a lack of technology infrastructure.
