Shipyard Fire Under Investigation

The cause of a minor fire yesterday at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery is under investigation.

Crews responded to an alarm on the USS Hampton around five p.m.

Officials said the fire was actually outside the submarine which is in drydock and it was quickly extinguished.

One injury was reported.
