Significant Water Leak At Shipyard Stopped

Portsmouth Naval Shipyard officials have confirmed that a significant water leak at the facility has been stopped.

The leak had been causing problems in the Kittery Water District, with residents being warned to look out for discolored water.

The leak began on Saturday but was fully contained by Sunday afternoon.

Permanent repairs are going to take place as soon as possible, according to shipyard officials.
