Slight Improvement In NH Drought Conditions

There is some easing of New Hampshire’s drought conditions thanks to recent rainfall.

According to the latest data from the U.S. Drought monitor the area of “severe drought” in the southern part of the state is a bit smaller.

Experts said while topsoil moisture is better and steam flow improved, significant extended rainfall is still needed to replenish deep groundwater supplies.
