Snow On Mt Washington Nears Record

According to officials at the mountain’s observatory, Mount Washington is nearing the record for the highest amount of snow recorded during the month of November.

At this point in time, 60.1 inches of snow has fallen.

According to observatory records, which date back to 1932, the most November snow on record for the mountain is 86.6 inches, set in 1968.

The high total, according to weather officials, is the result of consistent snow flow.
