Speed Appears to be Factor in Wakefield Dirt Bike Crash

Speed appears to have been a factor in serious dirt bike crash in Carroll County.

According to conservation officers, a juvenile was riding a dirt bike on an illegal trail in Wakefield Tuesday when they struck a stump while heading home from a friend’s house.

The juvenile ended up having to be rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

It’s also believed operator error also played a role in this accident.
