State Budget Has Been Passed By The Senate

Lawmakers in the NH State Senate in Concord have voted to approve a new two year, over 15-billion dollar budget.
The Senate’s proposal calls for nearly 250-million more dollars in spending than the fiscal plan crafted in the House.
Both chambers will meet next week to name members to a committee that will be responsible for working out a compromise between the two budget bills.
The start of the new fiscal year is coming up on July 1st.
