State Investigating Death at Prison in Concord
The death of an inmate at the state prison that happened overnight, deemed untimely but not suspicious, is being investigated by the state.
Corrections officers learned of an unresponsive inmate just after midnight Monday, according to a release from the New Hampshire Department of Corrections.
They called an ambulance and began life-saving measures, including CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator, or AED.
Efforts to revive the man were stopped after a do-not-resuscitate order was found in his records.
