State Officials ID Woman Fatally Shot Thursday Night in Danville

State officials are releasing the name of a woman who was fatally shot inside a Danville home late Thursday night.

According to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s office, responding police dispatched to the home at 48 Back Road found the body of 59-year-old Denise Damato Coe.

A neighbor told police she heard what sounded like several gunshots hours before the officers arrived.

Police are investigating Coe’s death as a homicide.
