Sununu Appears Poised to Expand Granite State’s Medical-Cannabis Program
Governor Chris Sununu appears to be serious about expanding New Hampshire’s medical cannabis program.
Administration officials say new state laws will expand the list of qualifying symptoms to include generalized anxiety disorder.
The laws will reportedly also allow healthcare providers to prescribe the drug to patients for any debilitating medical condition that could benefit from cannabis-related treatments.
Most state Democrats support legalized marijuana, while most state Republicans oppose legalization.
