Sununu Endorsed Ayotte, Morse Responds

Outgoing Governor Chris Sununu is supporting former U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte in her bid to succeed him.

He says she’s the Republican who will win in November and hit the ground running in January.

Her opponent for the GOP nomination in the September primary, former state Senate President Chuck Morse, called the endorsement ‘comical’ and accused Sununu of ‘throwing conservatives under the bus.’

He said he’ll take his record of ideas and accomplishments over Sununu’s any day.
