Sununu Had Already Called GOP Primary ‘Two-Person Race’

New Hampshire Governor and Nikki Haley surrogate Chris Sununu was already calling the GOP primary a two-person race hours before Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced he was suspending his campaign.

Speaking on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday morning, Sununu said Haley ‘knocked everybody out, even Ron.’

He followed by saying DeSantis is ‘in it, but he’s not really in it.’

While he said Tuesday’s New Hampshire primary wasn’t ‘make or break for Haley, he did say she’ll have to ‘start winning states’ once it becomes a ‘one-on-one’ race.
