Sununu: Removing Trump from Maine Ballot Politically Motivated

Republican New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, who has frequently called Donald Trump a ‘three-time loser,’ is criticizing a state’s decision to keep the former president off its primary ballot.

Speaking on CNN’s State of the Union, Sununu said Maine’s Secretary of State was ‘politically motivated’ when she announced last week that Trump would not be on the state’s GOP primary ballot.

Sununu said Trump should be on every state’s ballot and his removal will give him more opportunities to play the ‘victim card.’

Sununu has formally endorsed former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley in the GOP primary in mid-December.
