Survey: Growing Support For Affordable Housing

Seventy-eight percent of New Hampshire voters think more affordable housing is needed in their communities.

That’s a 15-percent increase over the last five years.

The annual statewide Survey of Voter Attitudes on Affordable Housing also shows 68-percent support allowing the conversion of large single family houses into up to four apartments if they have water and sewer service.

The survey from Saint Anselm College was released this morning.
