Survey: NH Safest State In America

New Hampshire is the safest state in America according to a national survey,  that according to U.S. News & World Reports 2026 ranking of states.

NH Governor Kelly Ayotte credits the state’s first responders.

She also said her administration has fixed a broken bail system and strengthened protections for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.
