Tax Amnesty Period Underway In NH

A special tax amnesty program is currently underway in New Hampshire until February, 15th.

It allows individuals and companies behind on their state taxes to pay their debts without penalties.

Delinquents can also take a 50-percent reduction in any overdue interest.

The amnesty is only for taxes owed to the state, it does not apply to local property taxes or federal taxes.
