Today Is 40th Anniversary Of Challenger

Today marks the 40th anniversary of the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster that killed New Hampshire teacher Christa McAuliffe.
The 37-year-old was one of seven people onboard the shuttle when it exploded 73 seconds after liftoff.
McAuliffe was a social studies teacher at Concord High School, and she became the first civilian educator ever to be chosen for a space mission.
There are roughly 40 schools across the country named in her honor.
