Trial of Manchester Malavet Entering Third Day

The trial of a former counselor with the Youth Detention Services Unit in Concord is entering its third day today.

Victor Malavet is accused of sexually assaulting a then 16-year-old girl back in 2001.

The victim took the stand Tuesday and told the jury she was assaulted by Malavet in several rooms throughout the facility.

Malavet, who’s facing a dozen charges, has denied those allegations.

The trial is expected to last at least until the end of this week.
