Update On Fire-Damaged Restaurant

A well-known restaurant in Hampton that was damaged by fire early Monday morning is going to be closed longer than initially thought.

The Old Salt and Lamie’s Inn on Route 1 sustained significant water damage as the result of fire in the attic.

Inn guests were safely evacuated.

The owners said cleanup and repairs will likely take a few weeks.
