Utility Work on Everett Turnpike to Impact Traffic

People whose daily commutes bring them on the Everett Turnpike should plan to leave a bit more time to reach their destinations.

The state Department of Transportation says that on Wednesday crews will be installing new cable between the hours of 10 a-m and two p-m.

That means there will be rolling roadblocks in both the northbound and southbound lanes in Merrimack.

Drivers are asked to go slowly through construction zones and follow posted signs.
