Water-Quality Advisories Posted at Numerous NH Beach, Lakes, Rivers and Ponds

Various safety warnings and alerts are currently in effect at numerous New Hampshire beaches, lakes, rivers and ponds.

State authorities say fecal-bacteria warnings are in effect at French’s Park Beach on Lake Massasecum in Bradford, Chase Beach on Post Pond in Lyme and Richardson Park Beach in Swanzey.

Cyanobacteria warnings reportedly are posted at Greenwood Pond in Kingston, Keyser Pond in Henniker, Mascoma Lake, Province Lake in Effingham and Wakefield, and Tucker Pond in Salisbury.

Lastly, officials say, cyanobacteria alerts have been posted at Silver Lake in Hollis, Cobbetts Pond in Windham and Deering Reservoir in Deering.
