Tanker Truck Crashed on Everett Turnpike

The driver of a tanker truck that crashed overnight Monday near exit 8 on the Everett Turnpike in Nashua is being treated for serious injuries at a Boston hospital.

New Hampshire State Police said it was carrying 5,600 gallons of motor oil when it veered off the highway and into a wooded area after being cut off by another vehicle around 1:40 a.m.

The tanker leaked oil which prompted a hazmat response.
