Alexandra Eckersley Trail Resumes in Manchester

Following a one-day break, the trial of Alexandra Eckersley is scheduled to resume.

The defense will begin laying out its case after the prosecution rested on Monday.

Eckersley is accused of abandoning her newborn son outdoors in a wooded area in Manchester back in December 2022.

The now 19-month-old boy was able to survive.

It’s possible that the jury could begin its deliberations by the end of this week.
