Brookline Fire Chief Has Resigned

Town officials in Brookline are looking for a new fire chief.

Indepthnh.org reported the town administrator said Chief Charles Corey submitted an ‘involuntary resignation’ last week.

He’d been suspended twice since last December, once due to complaints of harassment and inappropriate comments and once when a complaint was filed with the New Hampshire Human Rights Commission.

Assistant fire chief Dave Joki is the interim chief.
