Police Identify Man who Threatened Portsmouth School
Portsmouth Schools were closed today due to a threat investigation and now authorities say 25 year old Kyle Hendrickson, a local man, will be charged for allegedly posting a video to social media outside Portsmouth High School with a gun and threatening to shoot up the school. The city closed all schools today due to the online shooting threat. The superintendent of schools notified all the families in the district last night regarding the situation and the threat. Back in December, the Portsmouth and Dover school districts were two of several across the state to be the target of hoax school shooting calls, prompting lockdowns and police responses in public school systems around New Hampshire. Similar threats also occurred in Maine schools.
