Police Across the State Cracking Down on People Who Don’t Use Seatbelts
Police across the state are going to be cracking down on people who don’t use seatbelts while they’re in a vehicle.
It’s part of the ‘Join the NH Clique’ campaign that runs through July 4th.
Data shows 55 people who lost their lives in crashes in the state last year were not wearing a seatbelt. Anyone who is under the age of 18 must have a seatbelt on at all times.
New Hampshire has the lowest seatbelt use rate of any state in the country at 75-percent.
